Watten Mains Farmhouse is an attractive B Listed House constructed in 1763 and extended there after. Being a working farm the house can be a hub of activity but the ambiance is resting for our guests, and we will do all we can to give you a lovely break.

A full farm house breakfast is cooked on
the aga using locally sourced produce
where possible. Special dietary needs can
be catered for given advance notice.
Served in the dinning room, breakfast is
available from 7.30am -
earlier breakfasts can be arranged
if required.
Full Scottish Breakfast
Fruit juice, Cereal
Bacon, Eggs, Sausage, Black pudding, Tomato,
Backed Beans, Mushrooms
Toast, Tea or coffee
These are foods I like cooking on the aga, but if you have special dietary needs or fancy something different to the above then please tell me and I shall try to come up with a menu to your taste, and, of course, whenever possible, the produce will be local.

All rooms are priced at £30 per person per night.

• 2 Single Rooms
For larger parties there are another two single rooms available when the double room requests a larger party of people.
All Rooms have: Hairdryers • Tea / coffee facilities • Towels and Bathrobes
A few notes when considering booking with us:
For not so sunny days and in between outings there is a comfortable sitting room for guests, with TV and DVD.
On sunnier days there is a walled garden area for guests to sit and enjoy the outdoors and relax.
Private parking and Tea/coffee making facilities available.
Because of the quirky layout of the house guests with poor mobility might find the
house challenging -
The house is not suitable for very young children.
Pets and Smoking are not permitted
We accept cash or cheque only, and a 50% deposit is required when booking. Deposits are non refundable unless we can re book the room in time.
Guests may arrive after 3pm or earlier if requested, and departure is by 10am.
